As you read previously, I am searching for furniture. So far, I have accumulated a decent amount of stuff for my living room & dining area (technically part of the kitchen). Below are the fruits of my labors:
We start off with this evening's acquisitions--two office chairs & one couch. All Stowe-Davis, all green leather on dense wood, all reupholstered January 28, 1964 (the chalk marks are still on the underside of the chairs). Lord knows how old this furniture actually is. The lady I bought it from said it was purchased new in the '20s for the head office of the Butterfield Theater chain. Could be, I have no idea. I do know those three pieces are old & heavy. The chairs alone are roughly forty pounds each!

So there you have it. More stuff have I. I would say I'm getting settled in, but that'd mean I've completely unpacked. We all know that's a lie.
{Ed.--Eventually there will be pictures of the stuff brought back from NY but don't hold your breath.}
