- Read a book.
- Inventoried 20 more books with my handy-dandy Bluetooth scanner.
- Finished installation of electric fans on the Faithful Steed.
- Tested fans; fans failed to cool as well as old mechanical fan. There goes $350 & eight hours of labor. (On paper, 4600 CFM is nothing to sneeze at; in practice it's almost insignificant.)
- Made experimental spaghetti sauce. Slightly too much pepper though.
Tomorrow I hope to do some laundry. I may flush the cooling system of the Faithful Steed to see if that helps. Since it probably won't, it'll be back to the mechanical fan.
(Or I'll buy a bigger radiator.)
Bah. My truck was so quiet too...
{Sunday update}
Flushing the radiator did diddly. Dammit.
Well, my radiator was borderline even with the mechanical fan and it is almost two years old...hmm...$180 HD radiator from AutoZone (free shipping!), $175 HD radiator from Radiator.com (I currently have their light-duty version), or $499 BeCool radiator from Summit (all aluminum! spiffy! )
BAH!!!
{another Sunday update}
I forgot to do laundry today. Duhhhhhh. Oh well. I did buy more parts for my truck. Cooler oil = happy engine. Now I wait the 17 hours and 45 minutes until that spiffy (slightly dented) aluminum radiator on evilBay will be mine. ALL MINE!!!
(I really have to stop being such a consumer whore. It is most unbecoming in a prospective home buyer.)
He seems to think he can make improvements on the hellhound.
Yeah its going to be a weird week, I can feel it. At least its comfortable in here. I have the air off and my thermostat says 99.
