This weekend was a blast. 
Friday evening myself, Oninotaki, missbernie, and osoesoteric began our trek to Columbus, Ohio for fun, fellowship, and hijinks. We did leave about two hours behind schedule because the working man (me) did not leave work on time. Stupid Fridays.
Anyway, off we went to Ohio. We stopped somewhere around Findlay for dinner. Our choices were Woody's (old people), KFC (tourists), and Marathon (junk food!). We chose Woody's with its $21 prime rib. You know what? It was worth it.
(Even if the waitress did ask me how I wanted my prime rib cooked. Prime rib shall be cooked one way and one way only--RARE.)
There were a few navigational mishaps along the way since there's no direct route from Toledo to Columbus (I don't get it but that's another rant), but we arrived safe & sound to meet up with the illustrious Micah. One sixer of Steel Reserve for a mere $4.89 later, there was much rejoicing.

Saturday we went to COSI and the Bruce Lee Hall of Fame before trekking to Vectrexxx's house. Well, actually, we drove past the Bruce Lee HOF, conveniently located in a strip mall under a martial arts studio. Oni was disappointed. No penny-smasher for him.
COSI, however, had a few penny-smashers and a Foucault pendulum. It also had a very helpful chap on carpet skates who explained doubloons to Oni. I was more enthralled by the flesh-eating bacteria.
We went to Betty's for dinner. My headache had come back, so I walked around the block to clear my head. It helped a little.
Then it came time to trek to the other corner of suburban Columbus for shenanigans. Selected highlights of the evening:
Ap0cAlYpSe_Me0w tweaked a Twister mat into Drunken Twister.
Vectrexxx brought Petey out to greet the first few guests.
Alisa & miyabi_sama brought Oni his chips'n'dip. He was most grateful.
orez & TkiiMonster enjoyed some acid cigars while BSing with yours truly.
kellyjanice corrected the respective errors of both myself & Oni (it's CCS, not CPS and she does NOT teach scribbling).
RedViolet had to work the next morning but she swung by anyway.
More folks got to enjoy the ambrosia that is Barenjger.
The power went out for a couple hours.
The night ended with me falling asleep in the jacuzzi tub in the hotel room. By God, I'm paying $70 for this room and I intend to get my money's worth!...just not quite like that. Oh well. At least it got rid of my perma-dirt.
Sunday we went home, but not without stopping at Waffle House. Mmm, Waffle House...
So there you have it. My fantastic weekend.
