What is BurlyCon?
BurlyCon is a community-oriented convention for burlesque
performers, fans, and aficionados. For its second exciting year, BurlyCon aims
to bring hundreds together at Seattles Quality Inn Hotel over the weekend of
October 22-25. BurlyCon is focused entirely on community building, educational
and social networking events.
Burlycon is a rare opportunity for the larger burlesque community to come
together for inspiration, education, networking, and fun. Class topics include
costuming, performance skills, history, photography, business, and ethics. In
addition to classes, there are group socials and guests of honor keynote addresses.
The convention is organized by a team of volunteers who aim to make the
convention an even greater success in its second year.
