tonite a customer bough me a dvd.
for no reason.
yes he was a guy, and around my age.
but my face is soooo broken out
(from going to the sold out killswitch engage full-length dvd shoot in worcester
it was about 100+ in there, i sweated all over, it was gross, so gross)
anyway he was buying a lot of stuff
my manager joked, "while yer at it, buy me something"
and he said "okay" and she said "a car"
he said "no, i meant like a dvd or something"
so i said "shaun of the dead"
(i had just watched it on ondemand at home, i loved it!
i was looking at it earlier with plans to buy it)
so he went to the comedy section, searched it out, and put it on the counter
now, i couldn't believe it, i asked him at every opportunity if he was serious
(before i scanned it, before i demagnitized it, before i swiped his card)
i checked his ID, and it matches his card
we think he either came into a small lottery winning or something
i also thought that maybe he has a twin and stole his wallet for the day
anyway, it was pretty awesome, my manager called another coworker
we laughed about it all night
when he walked out the door i made sure to thank him for making my day.


speaking of free...
i was offered a free calico kitten tuesday
outside the palladium at yet another sold out show
some guy in the parking lot was holding it, and i demanded he come over
he put it on me, and was like "you can have it if you want"
but i couldn't it broke my heart, i love calico's
it was so young it could hardly meow
don't know why he had it, maybe he found it
i hope he gives it to a good person, :sigh: i shoulda took it home....



yeah, excuse how gross i look, it was so fucking hot.
