I went to a local record store with one of my friends last . I saw this girl the second I walked in. She noticed my beard at the same time I was checking out her hair. It's not hard to notice someone with similar color hair.
I went about my business and headed to the punk section. I know my track record with girls I find pretty. They're either taken, lesbians, or have kids which is becoming less of a problem..I'm more open to it than I used to be.
I was just going through the punk section trying to figure out what the hell I want to buy because my mind goes blank the second I enter any music store. Anyway, I see someone walk up to the soundtrack section diagonally behind me with a cart. The girl works there!
My friend asked which section a cd was in that wasn't in the section he thought. She pointed him in the right direction. She then turned her attention to me and asked if I dyed my beard for St. Patrick's Day. I told her that I did it months before that. She smiled. I told her that sadly I get that comment a lot. She agreed saying she did her hair before hand too. We both said something along the line of "I did it because I wanted to." She asked me what colors I used and told me the colors she used and told me of another brand I should try. She kept the conversation going, which was nice because I'm used to just getting a compliment and that's it. I guess sharing a love for green hair helps.
Stupid me being a 12 year old didn't ask for her number. I need to go back. This really could be the opportunity I'm looking for. I could fall very easily for this girl. There's something about a girl with green hair and a septum piercing. Can you say dream girl?
