Her picture to present it with my poem around from the SG Facebook page looked solid and dominate. Also Maud has a tattoo on her arm that makes me think she swing dances to Jazz big band genre. I don’t Lindy because I have never learned how to lead the swing out. But my East Coast is okay. I think my lead is comfortable with nothing fancy a few easy turns. I do a thing that causes me to bow and go under the arms backwards. I don’t know how good it looks because it’s a turn that’s most used in dancing Merengue I learned years earlier. I never say anyone’s else do the pattern I use to it except for new beginners not doing my same four or five repetitive sequence of turns that feels like it works. Sorry, I am rambling. Not bragging. 😜😘🦑
“Pierced Over my Heart” (sonnet)
By Matthew Knaub, For SG @maud
Dear pin-up girl’d inspired me a song!
Too sexy, like a fox, I could not hang.
Just Innocent... behold there’s nothing wrong,
Virgin Prince in lady’s hand, booty tang?
It’s not you’re forties pin-up kind of girls,
just one, soldier’d swooned over, in war.
I’d think she’d think that line was just for swirls.
Dapper Prince’d honored those SG swirls...
I’d honor you with swing, sweet boy who’s chaste.
But eyes upon my tongue have such the taste
for those ideas about going down and south;
I’d love to put your name inside my mouth.
I’m Sorry for not offering my heart.
More dangerous... then seeing legs apart.
