Went to St. Sabrina's yesterday and got my septum pierced! Hubby and I got matching piercings.....awwwwww LOL. It hurt soooo little - my labret hurt a crapload more than the septum. Anyway, it looks cool, but I had to get a retainer as my first piece of "jewelry" cuz of The Job. Funky staple lookin' thing. I left it turned down for the weekend, but I turned it up this morning and have to (should) leave it there until it's healed (per the piercer's instructions) Speaking of the piercer - Jaime SO rocked our world and I would recommend him for any piercing you want to get done. He's one of those piercers who believes that piercing can be a very spiritual experience - we had great conversation. He had a very quick, steady hand and a great sense of humor. Anyway, enough of the Jamie-infomercial.
The weather has been great - errr...for Minnesota. I normally would NOT consider a steady 65 degrees great, but since I know those -10 degree days are just around the corner, I'll hang onto 65 as long as I can. I've been on some fabulous walks and bike rides around Lake Calhoun and the Greenway. I even did a walk-run (walk half a mile, run 20 feet, walk half a mile....you get the picture, lol).
