I'm thinking about fasting. Actually, first a detox diet, then a fast in a couple of months. Lately I've been feeling sluggish and dumpy, and I think a detox/fasting diet would be a great way to kick-start new eating habits. I've been overweight since grade school (thanks for those twinkies and lunchables, ma!) and I never did acquire decent eating habits. I mean, don't get... Read More
I'm here if you need me. You might slip, fall, bump your head and wake up with a cigarette in your mouth once or twice but after that it does get easier. I'm pulling for ya, so you are gonna be alright.
and you can try an all sushi fast it might work, but either it sure is tasty
Well, after getting $150 worth of vaccines and spending $120 on supplies, it looks like I'm not getting deployed down to New Orleans after all. Well maybe... Wait...can you hang on...we might send you sometime in the next 6 months. Bastards. At least I'm prepared to survive for a few days if we get a hurricane up here in Minneapolis
So I may end up going down to the Gulf region to help with disaster relief. I'd be working in the field of forensics - victim identification, body processing, body collection from the area. Heavy stuff, but it's what I was doing before the ever-so-intellectually stimulating phlebotomy job I have now. In a way I'm really excited to have a chance to be a part... Read More
Good to see you back! It's been a while! Enjoying the new apartment??? And admit it - you've been to Fuji Ya like 12 times already, haven't you?
I just tried out Saji Ya for my birthday a couple weeks ago, it was nice, I liked it. But Origami is still my favorite TC sushi place. Good lord, I think I may have to take a little trip to Lund's today for some deli sushi...that's what I get for talking about it!
I just got into SG TwinCities, so I hope to meet lots of new people there! Hopefully the people are nice.
And that idea about going down to the Gulf is very noble of you. You'd be doing a really good thing. I've had a few offers in my e-mail from people around the twin cities who want people to go in on renting a Budget truck, fill it with good and drive it down to help people the Red Cross and Salv. Army are looking over. I have a lot of my son's baby bottles that he doesn't use anymore and other baby items that I'm hoping to ship down there. I had a woman write me and say her church was collecting goods, rather than money. Goods I have, money I don't. So, I hope to help in any way I can too. I also applied for yet another 2 jobs in my employment quest this past couple of weeks. One I didn't get, found out yesterday. The other I find out Monday - and if I don't get it, I'll be going down too somehow. I hope. I figure it's fate - if I have no job, kiddo is going to grandma and grandpa's for a week or so and I make myself useful another way.
But anyway - bravo to you! That's very cool!
By the way, I have two digitals, if you either need a photographer, or just the use of the cam...
We have internet in the new apartment. Kick ASS. The cable guy was totally cool and helped us hook up wireless so now we have three 'puters with internet (in our two bedroom apt - how fuckin' lazy can you get?).
I auditioned for a feminist choir tonight. It went okay. Well, it actually didn't go great, but I got the impression that they're... Read More
Made the move to Minneapolis! We're over in the LynLake area, south of Lake and a few blocks from Fuji Ya. Mmmm...sushi.....
Things have been great, and today hubby and I are hijacking one of his company's box trucks to go move all of the big shit from Rochester to Minneapolis. Ugh, heat + moving = sucky.
The flick sounds good, glad you did'nt give it all away. I'm not to concerned if its scary or gory but looking for a realistic disturbing like feeling. I'm sure Rob Zombie will not dissapoint. Glad to hear you dug the sick parts, you sick fuck! I dig that! GIGGLES LOUDLY, later.
