Monday and i ache to buggery 
Went to the Competition yesterday with a few members from my Karate club and we did rather well(said in a Posh English voice!) 11 Fighters went and 9 of them came back with Medals 
highlight of the day for me had to be taking both 1st places in the Black Belts Fighting and Kata(Patterns) Not bad for a 32 year old who hasn't fought since 2002 
Next one's on July the 12th but really not sure if i should risk another comp' before the end of ym fire brigade training just in case

I'm afraid London does make me sad, and it is definitely in the top 10 of things i would name. It's just so huge. The people are very... um... hard? and often mean... ? And it is nearly impossible to make friends with the English. Although, i have come to believe that there are just so many people here that you can choose who you want to be friends with, and mainly people seem to just stick to whoever they grew up with. I guess it really boils down to the fact that I'm rather lonely living in London. <sniff> But I'm getting used to it and working on cracking into some English cliques
