Wow. My nightmare has really become a reality.

Stephen Harper and the Conservatives really won. I feel that cold death-grip that I felt when Bush and his administration were actually re-elected.

I just can`t believe that the masses voted for Canada to be run by the tories, after 12 years of keeping them at bay. I just can`t believe that masses stayed at home, and did not vote. To you sad individuals, I say to you, If you`re not part of the solution, you`re part of the problem.

I have such anxiety now, which I can only try and quell, with those soft and
comforting little mumbles of hope. They don`t comfort me much anymore.
But this year, I have really lost alot of hope to actually change and evolve as a society any time soon. At this point, I think everythings going to get a lot worse before anyone actually pushes back, and cares enough to make postivie change.

I so naively thought the NDP might actually have a chance.
This is going to be a bad 4 years for Canada.
