metal show on st.patty's day was fucking insane. got fucked up in the mosh pit pretty good. ended up hitting my head and passed out. no concussion thank god. as shitty and painful as that was, a lot of good came out of it. this friend of a friend, who was playing in one of the bands that night, pretty much saved me from being taken home by a stranger who is a downright shady guy. so this sort-of acquaintance and i ended up talking and talking and talking. i ended up crashing at his place, which was right down the road a bit. and to make a long story short, we were together nonstop from the night of the 17th until just about 2 hours ago. i've never been able to be around a guy for that long without going a little nuts. but for some reason he's different. i really like him. and for the first time in my fucking life, i'm not rushing things. he even said that we should get to know each other a little more before things get more serious. god it's so nice to hear that from a guy. oh, did i mention he is one of the smartest people i've ever met? and definitely the funniest. he fixed my internet for me! he is going to culinary school and wants to take me out on a picnic once the weather permits, he holds doors open for me, he is one of the best cuddlers on the planet, he is more geeky than me (imagine that!), he tells me i'm beautiful and really means it, he listens to the same music as me, he is in a really fucking amazing metal band, and holy hell i could go on for hours!!!
