ZOMG!
got the new version of REASON!!!
FOR FUCKING FREEEEEE!
i love having kick ass friends. they hook my up with the best shit.
reason 4 is fucking sweet. I'm holding off on getting Pro Tools thanks to this bitch of a program. I learned it in my first semester of college, and did a lot of sick shit. I can't fucking wait to crack this program open and sit at my computer for HOURS writing new songs. As soon as I get my keyboard hooked up, it's gonna be INSANE!!
i am BEYOND excited. I must sound like a hardcore nerd, but... DAMN i love free stuff!
Got a super cheap MOTU MIDI interface and once that gets delivered i'll be in HEAVEN! looking into a decent computer/keyboard desk will be tough though. my keyboard is a monster of a machine, i have no idea if i'm even going to be able to get a desk that can accommodate that AND my mac. i got one of the new iMacs with a 20-inch display.... so much stuff, so little space..!
I LOVE THIS SHIT!
i'm going insane... looking at getting a new keyboard, MIDI interface, and zomg so much stuff! makes me giddy. thank the stars xmas is coming in a month! i'd be screwed trying to buy all this shit myself.... i love my parents. and their total support in my career goals
not many parents can say they want their child to strive for a career in music. most would think it's a waste of time. i am so thankful that i grew up in a household full of music. we never once, not even during thanksgiving, sat down to eat dinner together WITHOUT first turning on the stereo. When I was little I remember my dad playing his guitar for hours while i'd sit in my room and listen through the wall. I guess I just grew up thinking every family was the same, because I remember being completely SHOCKED when I was spending the night at a friend's house and her mom didn't listen to the radio while she made dinner. My parents never pressured me into doing sports or doing good in school. I just ended up a straight A student. They only asked me to find a passion and work my ass off for it.
And I'm pretty sure I worked my ass off so much, it just freaking disappeared....
