**taken from a blog on my myspace page earlier today**
i am reading an amazing book by Robert H. Hopcke, entitled "there are no accidents." the book takes an extremely interesting look at Jung's synchronicity theory.
the book analyzes the purpose behind all of those strange coincidences in our lives. and it makes you question the phrase "you are the author of your own story".
so... go pick up a book. i'm not saying you have to read this one, i'm just telling you to go fucking pick one up dammit!!!
or not... get your information from the fucking television. of course, side effects such as STUPIDITY may occur.
it honestly frustrates me to talk to people who are so opposed to change. so opposed to anything that questions their beliefs or way of life. these people are afraid of anything that might make them realize how little control they have, and how everything in this bubble we call Earth is slowly being corrupted.
go outside (it's supposed to be nice today) and read something. something fucking decent! or... listen to music.
enjoy life and stop fucking complaining!
(yes, i realize i have just posted a blog that seems like one big complaint.)
*i hope everyone is having a great week. enjoy the beautiful weather!*

ok.. one other little puddle of green jiggly thoughts seeping from my brain....
thinking about people opposed to change makes me think of religion. as a whole, not just christianity. i don't know why, but every time i make a religious comment, people automatically assume i am talking solely of christianity. and because i am mainly being critical, people assume i am attacking christianity. so before you jump to conclusions, back up and realize this is about religion AS A WHOLE. (GASP! there ARE other religions besides yours! freak out time!!!)
WHY are people so intolerant of other people's beliefs? i never understood how one person can tell someone else that their beliefs are wrong. how dare you tell someone that what they hold so close to their heart is WRONG. how dare ANYONE hold their beliefs above others. you are no better than anyone else. what makes a person "better" is tolerance and love. be tolerant of other religions. in fact, it would do everyone tremendous good to read about other religions. it is very enlightening, and it may just make you more firm in your beliefs as well as knowledgeable of others.
i will never, NEVER tell someone they are going to hell because they do not believe in god. the people who are "condemned to hell" most likely don't even believe in hell, so your accusations and threats mean absolutely nothing to them. you have no right telling someone they are condemned. let them make their own choices. if they choose to follow another religion or not have a religion, LET THEM. don't try to force your beliefs on them. Just let it be. we americans are so busy force-feeding our beliefs and way of life to the rest of the world that we fail to realize that we end up looking like dirty, selfish, and all-together bad people. so be an adult, hold your beliefs, whatever they may be, close to YOUR heart. and do not, under any circumstances, believe for one second that what you believe is any better than someone else's belief.
CRUCIFY THE EGO.
now you see 'em...
NOW YOU DON'T!!!
