I don't particularly mind the expression itself. There is no devaluation in being a sex worker, as there would be in any other activity. But that is not what it is about. When you name me a whore, you're not saying anything about my profession. Yes, it means that I belong to a supposed subcategory of worthless women and that, therefore, I do not deserve to be respected. Therefore, one expression can vary and be another. I can be a cow, a bitch, a slut, and whatever else your imagination allows.
There is a name for your posture. What you do is called a slut shaming, an expression of unknown origin whose meaning comes close to embarrassing a woman by calling her a slut or similar. And the woman, isolated, despairs when she is so taxed. And this is how you control it. It controls your body, your clothes, your voice, your choices, your desire.
I can't understand why some men want to impose themselves or get attention, offending a woman. We're in the same boat.. if you can't understand that a woman can be independent, the problem is with you!
I watched a episode of the LORE series that portrayed this well. As culture has created men who see the independence of women as something dangerous, sinful, and that in some times, reasons to punish them with death.
