So I finally went and bought a new optic for my M-4. It cost me more than the rifle did, but it is soooo worth it. Some don't agree, but what do they know. It has a 4x zoom, and has a tritium reticle. That means it stays illuminated with no batteries because it is a radioactive element that creates its own light by emitting electrons. A little science lesson for free. It also has a half-life of 12ish years, so it will last a while.
