"Control" is a relative term with watercolors. But I'm not an avid painter. You can prob find more help in one of the art groups here. Also, newb tip: it has long been considered faux pas to post comments in your own blog. People don't know when you respond with comments in your own blog.

random is indeed, not bad. I'm actually quite the fan.
Bottom line, don't stress too much.
A: You're young. You've got plenty of time to reinvent yourself, a couple of times over if necessary;
and
B: A big heart and a sane head a marvelous attributes to have (and sadly a rather rare combination to find, it seems) can take you virtually anywhere.
If nothing else, you seem to have a talent with words and self-expression.
Finally, don't sweat the social anxiety . . .

Maybe its not randomness your just unique...you seem like an eclectic type of person..embrace it...the randomness could be who u are at the core...plus randomness keeps things interesting
I'm not one to add people for no apparent reason in hopes of making myself look better just because I have three hundred friends. Nor am I the person to add you and not talk to you again. So if you get a random add, know its because I found you interesting or unique Snd wanted to fill my life with more positivity, like you!!
