Yesterday I got a nice envelope in the mail. When I opened it, there it was, my letter of acceptance. So this fall I will embark on a new adventure :)
About two weeks ago I was at the interview and it was breathtaking. The surroundings, the atmosphere and the people, all of it, just being there gave me a great feeling down to the bone. The buildings where situated just outside of a small town, you could see the sun rise, hear the birds sing and smell nothing but clean air and flowers. The school offers a couple of courses with emphasis on artistic work in one way or another, so I will probably also meet a lot of artistic, bohemian and interesting people (fingers crossed for a hot and sexy woman as well... ;) ) I hope all of this combined will inspire the artist in me and spark my creativity, Can´t wait for the end of august :)
As always when leaving for an adventure, there are things to tend to. So starting next week I will, among other things, give notice to my roomie, give notice on my apartment, apply for leave of abscence at work and start to decide what to save and what to get rid of. As the adventure probably will last about three years, the current idea is to pack things with some kind of sentimental value and sell of or give away the rest. This means that most of the furniture will go, but all of my books will be packed off course :)
