The weather here in Sweden has been sunny a few days and, although no sunshine today, spring is in the air. So I decided to plant some seeds.
This year I got one of those whatchamacallit to make biodegradable seedling-pots with old newspapers, good for the environment and probably good for the plants. When the plant is big enough to put in a bigger pot or in the garden you just put the whole thing in the soil, the paper will degrade and the roots can spread. As a bonus this means that you don´t need to stress the delicate roots when handling the seedling. Fingers crossed that it works as good as I hope :)
Today I planted Agretti, Nero di Toscana (Brassica), chilipeppers and two seeds I don´t now how to use yet. Maybe one of you women of SG can help me with a good recipe for the italian plants called Erba Stella and the other called Scuplit?
When these are ready for bigger pots the plan is to plant another batch, but then herbs and spices.
