What a shitty day. All day I've been having fairly bad luck. This evening I got distracted with recording and managed to piss off my best friend because we were supposed to go grab some food. Then I got on my motorcycle to take it back to my parents house for winter storage. About 7:30 I was on the Crosstown when traffic came to a very very abrupt stop. I hit the brakes, my wheels locked up, the bike slid and fell. Just then I hit the back of a station wagon going about 15 MPH, the bike hit the bumper and hopped up. Either my head, shoulder or the bike then shattered the rear window.

When officers arrived, I found out that for some reason unbeknownst to be, my license is suspended! What the fuck is that all about??? They said it had to do with not providing proof of insurance at some time. Beats me.

Oh, I hate these fucking crutches!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have a bike that is damaged, not too seriously though, a very seriously sprained and possibly fractured ankle and I'm scared shitless to ride again.

I am so lucky to not be more seriously injured or even dead. Is this a sign that I shouldn't keep my bike anymore? I kinda think that it is...
