This month has been super busy!
*On the 12th was the Burlesquercise student show at the Lexington. I did a solo number to "Let's go sex'n" and a bunch of the girls from the class performed as well (including our fearless teacher bombshellbetty).
*On the 17th bombshellbetty and I performed with a guns and roses cover band! See pics below. We do a super cute number to "Paradise City."
*Then we performed that Friday night, the 19th, at the San Francisco Tenants Union benefit.
*Saturday night Betty and I performed our red ridinghood number at the House of Burlesque show at Benders. Betty also did a solo with a mardi gras theme. She made audience memebers show their tits for a beaded necklace she pulled off of her costume. I was prepared with tassel pasties and received TWO necklaces.
Our next show isn't until late in September. Whoooooo. All of the shows were really fun, but I am a little bit tired. And last weekend I came down with a sinus infection and bronchitis.
I have also been knitting like a mad woman. I am going to try and make a bunch of fake fur stoles (knitted with fuzzy yarn) and possibly fake boas (I think the real ones make me sneeze). Oh and some fake Knitted intestines for when Betty kills me in the Red Ridding hood number.
Horay for keeping busy!
