A few weeks ago I applied for a passport so that I can go visit a friend who recently moved to London (hopefully I will go in February). Today in the mail I received a letter saying they need more proof that I am who I say I am. I need to send them 3 copies of things I have that are over 5 years old. Things like utilities bills (I was glad to get rid of those years ago), military ID (nope), marriage certificate (nope), high school diploma, and the list goes on and on. So, I went in to a frenzy searching for what I might have. ("where is it! Where Is It!")
In my search I came across a bunch of cool stuff that I had forgotten about. Photographs, postcards, notes from friends, books, hand-blown glass stirs, all kinds of stuff. I have had quite an assortment of crazy friends give me silly little things over the years. It was so great to find this stuff.
And I think I found enough old paper-work to satisfy the government as well.
whoooooo.
