either/or questions are not objective criteria
there is usually a shade of gray.
now, there are some 'morals' that almost every damn culture agrees on--
it's wrong to kill
IT'S WRONG TO KILL
it's wrong to kill
unless you're the king or the government of something
then you are allowed to execute child murderers
or to murder children in the name of national defense.
furthermore, all cultures agree that you shouldn't fuck my mom
or at least i shouldn't fuck my mom
right?
so..... despite the outliers,
a shithead in tuscon or a suicide bomber in bagdahd
almost all 5 billion of us agree
both subjectively and objectively
you should not fuck my mother while killing people
just don't do it
it's not right

it's situational depending on one's individual beliefs. Culture and society are two different things. Different cultures tell us killing is wrong. Now society does... because most have lost their sense of culture.
I don't think it is. Depends on the situation.
....i just had to write an epic paper on the different ethics different cultures have instilled in their followers. i might just be a tad brain fried.
