yesterday i came to a realization

i have trouble turning off the computer


i have a laptop

and i work on it all day, from about 8:30 am until night,

broken up by meetings, eatings, toilet

driving my kids from school, to piano, to swim lessons (typical bourgeois blues leadbelly)

then back to email

writing

wanking

emoting

emailing

reviewing

commenting


and then.......

when the family has gone to sleep, and i might curl up with a good book, jon stewart, or go out or the fuck to bed


i feel lonely................

so i start drunk posting

wanking

writing

reviewing

commenting

posting


postponing the sad inevitable fact

that i am actually alone




and restless






used to be i'd go out on the prowl



prowl for whatever

but out

(i've always been restless)
