anyhoo, let's see, what's on my mind...
working for the arts can be awfully demoralizing sometimes, especially in this town -- godawful long hours, low pay, little recognition from the public -- but once in a while, there are perks. for example, i spent $90 at amazon.com last week, and i can write it off on my taxes as research for my next directing project. takes the sting off, you know?
