So, I guess I jinxed the whole weather thing: yesterday, it was sunny and warm -- today, wet and cold as fuck. Should have kept my mouth shut.

Some friends of mine recently adopted a Chinese baby, and they got back to the states with their new little girl today. I say "new," but she's a year old (today, coincidentally). Cute as a button. They are the second couple I know that have made the jump to parenthood...I'm sure more will follow soon. Babies. I like kids, just as long as I don't have to take them home with me. I'm quite content with my two god-daughters, thank you very much.
