I miss the stage.
I've been an actor since I was 7 years old (even professionally, on occasion), and love theatre like nothing else. However, I've been directing more and more over the past few years (since it pays the bills), and acting less and less. I was thinking about it today, and realized it's been at least two years since I've done anything more than a walk-on part (in an opera that I was directing, no less). Don't get me wrong, directing shows is immensely rewarding, but nothing beats the rush of performing.
- sigh -
Anyway, I started rehearsal on another show the other day. A cute little opera for the holidays. Sounds like fun, huh?
