Well things in paradise are getting a little shaky. New girl is on me alot about the way I dress, and the way my house is decorated. We've been going out 5 weeks, I don't think it's apropriate for her to be trying to change my house already, I bought my house almost two years ago and have spent a lot of time and effort trying to make it a place the reflects myself and a place for me to be comfortable in.
Also she's on me about wearing black all the time and won't let me wear my more out there clothes around her. I've really been coming into my own the last 1.5 years and finally feel comfortable with who I am and honestly don't want to have to change I'd rather the person I'm with love me for who I am NOW than try to change me.
Then she is talking to me alot baout how I'd raise kids etc. whihc I have experience in I raised my ex's little boy from the time he was 4 months old till he was 3 and a half and did a damn good job, while raising a kid is a two way street with both parents I don't need to be told how to raise a kid by a person that has never done it before.
All in all I love her but she is just way more conservative than I originally thought, she is also way to concerned by how others think of her which is part of the reason she gets on my case on how I dress.
Compromise is one thing but I'm happy the way I am, I worked hard to get to where I am now and wish she would apreciate that fact and enjoy it instead of fighting me on it.
