Hey guys how is everyone?
Ok so new month new blog. And like I promised last time there shall be no talk of housemates to be seen.
So what's been happening... well... I recently rediscovered how much I love Something for Kate, cheeky little buggers released a few albums whilst I was away, Aaand I have just discovered they are touring!!!here's to May.
I got to go to Melbourne last weekend to go to my oldest friends wedding, we have known each other since pre-school which will be 15 years this year. It was a wonderful ceremony at the RACV country club in beautiful Healsville, we had some fantastic food and I may have had a bottle of red or two. I also got to see my good friend Anne for a couple of hours we had dinner a a vegan establishment ( apparently I have forgotten how to spell restaurant 7th time lucky hey?) in Richmond called "loving hut", a very nice feed I would happily recommend it to anyone even though it's rabbit food :p. After all that we tried to go rock climbing with one of her work friends who had also had dinner with us, but unfortunately we had left our run too late and they were closing when we arrived, but thems the breaks, so instead we took old mate home and enjoyed a nice Indian tea and sat in his driveway having a good old chat.
So I think my train of thought may have just derailed, but I really want to build a rat rod, I'm thinking a 49 chev pickup running a big carburettor fed v12, chopped and shaved, sitting on it's arse with big white walls. I'm thinking probably a really deep green, matt finished of course with all the pipework fabricated out of copper brass and alloy. It would have a simple box tray decked out with a well grained light coloured timber perhaps Tassie oak. And at a later date I could build a bike to match, an Indian or a Triumph perhaps.
But I have realised that I am rambling so, my thoughts go out to Pesky and Kurosune I hope things pick up for both of you, and to Arroia good luck with your appointment today, can't wait to see the photo's
So that's all for now, thanks for sticking with us Swanks
