In a continuation of the theme from the last time I updated this oft neglected journal, I was talking about The D.
This one, also shall be about The D, but I promise that the odds are good this will result in the cessation of all Tenacious D discussion.
You see, I went to see The D in concert last night at the Patriot Center and I was quite honestly surprised with what I witnessed, as they had arranged a rather mighty and potent band to back them, in addition to the conventional acoustic material.
But the highlight of the night, for me at least, was clearly singing "Fuck Her Gently" with a stadium filled with thousands of strangers and a few friends like it was the most natural thing in the world.
In many ways, it is.
