been better. I'm just a little caught up. All my work involves a party. Before, after, and during. It's a lot of stress and it's way to easy to party it all off and get way run down. Like 5 months run down. Feel like I'm cracking up a little. Just need to take better care of myself and thus far I'm no good at it. I want board games, puzzles, diner and movies, play more music, think about work a shit load less, and in general a way more tame lifestyle for a bit but I'm having trouble finding the brakes.

I manage a one small fancy schmacy drink bar and also manage a rock and roll club, doing their booking, running sound, event promotion etc. etc. etc. and play drums in a band that brings me in a little extra cash also. sweden was wonderful. everything is just so much prettier there.
and i did get rid of my dreadlocks in the end. it feels so nice to have normal hair again! it took me twelve hours and a lot of pain but it was so worth it.

There's some really good websites and books - I can't afford the books though, I just got a couple out of the library Also, you should download the J-list podcast, it's a "Learn Japanese" podcast, and it's really, really awesome. Very helpful, the guy who does it is an English guy living in Japan, and he's fluent, he also gets help from his Japanese friends. It covers most things you need to know! There are a bunch of websites that help with learning Kanji and Hiragana and such. When my internet connection is being less slow and shit, I'll send you the ones that are the most help to me

He started a year before me, so we've already had two years of it. I think we cope really well because we were together for three years before he went, and it's been over five now... If we've survived so far, I think we're good We see each other a lot during term time anyway. He'll come down or I'll go up or whatever. When he finishes, he's going to move up to London and after we've been working for a while, the plan is to do the big move to either Japan or New York Depends on who's company can get us where first!
