Ever feel as if you are being pulled in two opposite directions, that your inner self conflicts and contradicts or betrays your true desires, to the point where different parts of yourself are facing each other at a standstill or bickering at one another like an old married couple? Not sure which shade of me has my best interest in mind anymore. I suppose it's only natural, as walt whitman said, "I am large. I contain multitudes." would sum up everything.
