I've made it home safely from Vegas, but on my way home My friends and i witnessed a horrible car accident, a suburban probably about 4 car lengths ahead if us in the fast lane spun out and hit the ditch on the right hand side and flipped multiple times. We immediately pulled over jumped out of the car and ran to the scene of the accident, one other truck with two men pulled over and were a great help. Luckily my friend who is a licensed EMT and she was very calm and quick to help, I was trying to calm down two younger children with my other friend. One of the men who was ejected from the car passed away only feet away from me, it was a really intense and emotionally traumatic experience, I feel so terrible, these people were screaming and horrified they just lost the someone they love most in the world and they also didn't speak English do it was hard to try to comfort them. I started having a panic attack and needed to sit down, finally the ambulance came and the cops took our report and sent us on our way. I can only hope and pray that the ones who were badly injured will make a full recovery and that they will begin to heal as a family. It has really shown me how important it is to be extremely focused when driving cause anything can happen and at the blink of an eye. Please don't text and drive, don't drive when tired, and please wear seat belts. These things can save your life. I'm feeling very blessed and very emotional. Please keep these people in your thoughts!
