Nothing pressing to say which rarely happens. Usually I have way too much to say....

I've been known to have a few opinions. In fact, I have strong opinions about damned near everything and I'm not sure if that's such a good thing. Yeah, I'm passionate about lots of things, but I think I take things too seriously.

Buddha would probably say that the desire...

MMMM! Fiber...I got a box of basic four sitting in my cupboard that beckons to me...

The fact is that politics have this odd tendency to be just that...forcing your opinion as the right one...I don't think it's fair to do such a thing.

One of the most well known republicans of all time said that Politics and morals are not to be mixed (I'm paraphrasing since I can't be bothered to find the real quote) because politics are used to manage the people at large, while morals are a strictly personal subject...He also said that any good christian ought to kick Falwell in the ass... Who'd have thought that Barry Goldwater would have said something I agree with? (and the extremeism in the face of tyrany...blahblahblah...totally out of context too.)

by the way...I like your picture...The Secretary is a riot.

Hello Friends, First Post of 05'

I like:

The Eagles of Death Metal - Peace, Love Death Metal- Sport Punk bands from LA or OC (Sum 41, Llink 483, Poseur 617, ad nauseum) are killing the good name of punk rock. The EoDM are punk rock for people who want to love punk rock again.

Cat Power - You Are Free. Is there more beautiful...

My alma mater, the University of Iowa Hawkeyes play the LSU Tigers tomorrow at 11:00am Mountain time in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando FL. You can bet your booty I'll be watching with some hommies and kin.

I'm not a huge sports fan, but this is special. Iowa, a perennial underdog, has become one of the premiere football programs.

Iowa, known only for corn...

Actually I do read everyones journal. If I have nothing to say, I simply say ~cheers so people realize their journal is being read. *shrug* That way, you realize the people on your friends list are not ignorning you, even if they do not have something, smart/witty/nice to say.

Have a nice day.

Thanks man, you're coming out for drinks with SGColorado this week, right?

As I posted in my journal. Sometimes I'm okay with myself.

This just happens to not be one of those times.

Howdy Partners-

I'm back from: the post-election abyss, my mostly ill-fated trip to San Francisco, and turkey coma to enjoy my unemployment.

With the election over, so is my job, so if you know anybody hiring an political organizer/ public relations agent/ urban planner, send'em my way!

A few things I'm thankful for:

My friends in SF who took me in and showed me a...

Just when I think I have, I realize I can't remember what I am forgiving myself for. It is funny how certain things can trigger a memory of the past. And how sometimes discussing things can shed light on to past situations, and that is all he was doing was shedding light, not condeming. But I do wish he could forget that I had a life outside of him even if he was part of it. I don't really want to remember and I think this is why I have blocked out so much of my past.

So how are the plans coming along to go see the folks? Are you all set to go? How's work? Any big changes?

I 've been working 80 plus hours a week for the John Kerry campaign - 12-14 hours a day. I go home whistleing though. This is the most important election of my life I'm lucky enough to right in the heart of it.

I have no social life and I miss all my SG commrades and look forward to seeing you at Samhain.

Hey kids I'm back

My goal of getting my business started has been postponed and I've taken a job on the John Kerry campaign. I'm a field director for Denver.

Any SG'ers that want to get involved in any capacity let me know. We ALL have to do what ever can to keep the un-elected warmonger from getting another 4 years to pilfer our counties...

I've got two weeks to finish 2 huge projects and I'm begging to freak. These are the first two projects for my burgeoning consulting company, and its crucial that I get them done on time and do a great job. No shorts cuts. Complete work. If they go well, I might actually make a living, if not I might be panhandling on Colfax for real....
