So for those of you that have been keeping up, you should already know that this has been the most physically excruciating month of my life. But hey... it builds character. Like, I mean, before the whole ordeal I was only a pretty decent guy... Now I'm a pretty decent guy that can refer to April 2004 as "the most physically excruciating month" of his life! See? Character! Anyway, it's done. No more operations for a while. There is, of course, that nagging 80% chance of recurrence... but I'll worry about that when I get there.
So I'm all better and ready to have a funky-good time!!!
First up: Softball. This is humorous. I've never been interested in playing sports. I've been even less interested in watching sports. But Joe bafflingly went and joined a softball league. Joe is my friend. So I've decided to take the "I love my dead gay son!" stance and support him in the fullest. He plays Thursday evenings so I'll be out there on the bleachers screaming things enthusiastically. I'm not sure what to scream yet. I don't really know a lot about softball, but I'm pretty sure screaming is integral.
I've been really bored lately. I feel like maybe I should go on a date. Or several dates. Or something.
Eh... Nevermind.
