Spent all day with Stephanie today. I was overjoyed to see that she was alive and well. The other night I dreamed she was on a fieldtrip. I wasn't there... I was just sort of omnipresent. Anyway, she was standing on the edge of a mountain and decided to drink chocolate. Not milk... just chocolate. Obviously this is a difficult thing to do as chocolate is very thick and is often solid. Her's was fortunately liquid... but still with the whole thickness part. She choked and stumbled off the cliff to her crunchy demise... at which point chocolate flowed from her veins. This seems somewhat humorous but within the dream I accepted it as complete reality and was devastated. Her last words to me in real life were of missing me (we hadn't seen each other in a while)... and mine to her were something sarcasticly unaffectionate. So I felt pretty bad about that as well. Alas, I awoke and found it was allll a joke on me by my jerk of a subconscious. But I still have this lingering feeling of loss. I suppose somewhere, on some plane of existence, my friend is still dead.
As far as this realm goes... she's still pretty nifty. We bought a box of 24 popsicles and ate them all in one sitting.... well one walking. There really aren't that many things that warm my heart like walking along the banks of of a rocky creek while eating an absurd amount of popsicles with old friends. Female ones at that. We concluded the day with a repeat viewing of Eternal Sunshine. All in all a good time. ...it gave me the most miserable happiness I've felt in a while.

Did you go to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show at the Echo Lounge last November? I had my solitary fanboy moment there. Karen spit water in my face. It was hot.
