Now that I've had a bit of time to really contemplate "resolutions" for the new year, I've decided on a few things that I need to do, regardless of the time of year. So here are my goals for 2018.
First- I'm turning over a new leaf, more exercise this year. My knee injury has prompted me to take a serious look at my habits, and I've realized how I've let things slide that I shouldn't have.
2nd- Continue working on my mental health. It's going to be an ongoing process, because it's not a simple thing. However, my anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds are about where they need to be. I just need to get more sunlight during the daylight hours, to help combat my SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder.) The good news is that my office gets a great amount of sunlight during the afternoons straight in the window.
3rd- Shoot more sets for SG. This one is something I definitely want to concentrate on, because I love how SG makes me feel. You guys are so supportive, it's amazing. <3 My biggest obstacle here is my location. A and I are planning to visit Denver in August to see family, and I really want to try to shoot something with someone while I'm there. It's not too far from Colorado Springs, so I may try to work with Sid (if she's interested.)
So there are my goals for 2018. Here's to a new year, and renewal of determination.
What are your goals?
xoxo
