I can't tell you how excited I am to have finally received my Hopeful Secret Santa gift! Best guess is that it was delayed due to weather and amount of packages in the system (working within the postal service as I do, I know that we were told an additional three billion or so pieces of mail would be coming through the week prior to Christmas), but I'm just glad it made it safely! Thank you so much. As most of you already know, I'm a total nerd at heart, and her gifts definitely hit the right spot for that. ;)
Firstly, I received a Thor Funko pop from Thor: Ragnarok. I have to say, one of my favorite lines from the trailer is "I know him! He's a friend from work!" I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet, but just based on the trailer, I'm going to love it. ;)
Secondly, I received a a gorgeous Guardians of the Galaxy calendar for the next 16 months. I absolutely love pretty much all things Marvel, but Baby Groot holds a special place in my heart. Particularly when he dances.
And lastly, but certainly not least, a can of Almond Roca toffee.
all in all, a wonderful gift and so very thoughtful. Thank you again, lady.
As far as resolutions go, I don't like making resolutions, because it's too easy to break them. Rather, I like to set attainable goals that allow me to feel as though I'm actually achieving things as I go. This year, the first goal I've set is to hit approximately 1500 miles on Charity Miles for HRC. ;) I find that my Slytherin qualities help in making (and often breaking past) my goals.
