The SG homework from @missy @lyxzen and @charmaine this week is to describe your perfect day. For me, that day has to be one in which I have no errands to run, no work to do, and can just relax with my husband. The Minion would be at Grandma's in order to have her perfect day (and night) with her grandparents while Adam and I get to have some alone-time (almost never happens.)
We would start the day off with an amazing home-cooked Mexican breakfast burrito (he makes them, and they are to DIE for...yum.) We'd sleep in, so it'd be more of a brunch, as we'd sleep til almost noon. Once we finish breakfast, we would discuss our plans for the day, and maybe sneak in some sexytimes. ;)
Eventually, we'd decide on our plans for the day being lunch and a movie (or dinner and a movie, either works.) Depending on what we felt in the mood for, we'd decide our restaurant (probably either Chinese or Mexican, despite my onion allergies) and head on out. We would linger over our food, and flirt (just because we're married doesn't mean the spark is dead.)
After a leisurely meal, we'd arrive at the movie theater and decide on the spur of the moment which movie we would like to see, and what snacks we'd like. Usually I get popcorn and we share a drink, while he gets his own snacks. If we sat far enough back in the theater, we might even make out a little while the lights are off during the movie. If I let him see a scary movie, I might even end up on his lap, hiding my head in his shoulder. Who knows?
Once the movie is over, I might decide to take him out into the foothills to show him Make-Out Point where you can see the sheer beauty of the city spread out over the valley at night. I might even take him up to Blacktail Reservoir to show him where I used to go crawfishing at night. We'd spend some time up there just enjoying each other's company, before heading home for the night.
In the morning, we'd pick up the Minion and go back to our daily routine, but the memory of that wonderful day would linger on in our minds, allowing us to deal with our day-to-day grind without going nuts, until we can steal away for another perfect day.
