A planned weekday off from work usually entails some sort of travel plans, but I admit that I'm enjoying this quiet day in Seattle very much. The weather is cooperating (yet again), but this has a bit of a down side: it's a bit hazy over the mountains and the grass is nowhere near as green as it should be. Please come back, rain, some of us miss you.
I headed over to Redmond (home of Microsoft) for lunch at the fairly new veg Indian restaurant Namasthe. Redmond reminds me why don't like the suburbs, but the food was quite good.
"Wild Wild Life" by the Talking Heads was played twice on my drive home. Did we experience a time warp back to 1986 without me knowing?
A few more days until San Diego. Oddly enough, it's been raining *way* more than usual down in southern California.
In looking across the boards of SG, I'm astounded at how uptight and Puritan some folks in this group are. One guy wanted to get a BJ from a hooker in Amsterdam, but he had a g/f. Now, I understand why people were dissuading him in this context, but they seemed so angry at him for even considering the idea of paying for sex. I suppose that I'd be quite in the wrong since I "paid" for a kiss with Mistress Matisse.
I thought that most SG folks would be a little more laid back and a lot less angry than they seem to be.

I don't know about my dreams. Sometimes they conincide with shit other times they don't. It's pretty random. I don't know what to think of them. I'm buddhist, so I feel that we are all karmically linked and I also believe in chaos theory which states that everything, no matter how random it seems, was meant to happen.
The closest I've ever come to predicting something from a dream was last year on April 15th. I had a dream where a man just walked up to me and said "39 days". 39 days later over a 1000 people died in flash floods in the Dominican Republic. Oh yeah, I also had a dream about 2 violent tornados side by side just before 9/11.
i don't know.
