Posting photos works well for me since it allows me the chance to remember what the hell I was going to say.

Ahh, memories. Yes, technically speaking, it hasn't been that long since Seattle was graced with the presence of ShellyMC, dorwayin, FancyD and Jorryn (not pictured as she didn't arrive until later), but their presence was a memorable joy, indeed. As my routine slowly comes back to form, I will appreciate their willingness to use the invariably precious time off (this isn't France, you know) to come to visit western Washington. Their company is unparalleled and, yes, the meal on the Fourth of July was nothing short of spectacular: I know that the reclusive HolaGatita agrees with me entirely on both of these points. Be sure to look in their journals for more photos as I left the picture-taking to the professionals this time.
One other visitor was in town recently and, of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this: she was determined to perform on Amateur Night at a downtown strip club. The $100 ash prize wasn't her goal, but, instead, she was interested in doing it for her own interests. It was, of course, a happy fortune that she specifically wanted both HolaGatita and I there for moral support.
She did wonderfully on stage (with a bruise or two to show for her efforts---apparently, those stages aren't all that forgiving) and, by the time we were leaving, a higher-up in the club was offering her a job. Success all around and, most certainly, a fine way to spend a warm summer evening...
Would you feel at all uncomfortable in watching a friend strip?

Have you heard about the promotion 7-Eleven has in place to promote the upcoming Simpsons movie? 12 locations in the US and Canada have been temporarily transformed into Kwik-E-Marts, replete with Buzz Cola and Krusty-O's for sale. Rationally speaking, this is an obvious gimmick to drive up sales of generic Coke and Froot Loops. I realised that, of course, after downing my third Buzz in three days.
And, no, I didn't get the Krusty-O's...they were out of them.

I've used this weekend to reply to long-neglected correspondence. Does anyone now want to help me clean my place and do laundry? There's a free semi-cold Buzz Cola in it for you if you do...

What's new in your world, dear readers? Surely, some of you feel the compulsion to talk about yourselves...or are you all shrinking violets?

And we actually have some sun today! It's a miracle. But the weather is so weird just now. Like it's pretty nice today and quite warm. Then it'll get cloudy and really cold and windy, then the day after will be cloudy but quite warm and humid. It's the end of the world!!! Or something. I need to move. I think i might now start to give you a daily weather report from sunny Glasgow. As that's pretty much what I'm doing anyway!
What's new? I've decided to quite my job and do a tv and film make up artistry course. I just need to secure my place on the course and find somewhere to stay in London. So expensive!
