More lamentable proof that there's no way that radical changes to curb CO2 emissions will ever fly here until it's probably too late to do anything about the problem. And, yes, I do understand the concerns about the levy hitting the poor hardest---but isn't all of this meant to push people towards public transportation where many of the poor already ride?

I'm heading out of town for the weekend with the reclusive HolaGatita. Supposedly, we may actually see the sun AND be warm in the next few days. We can only hope.
