I think that it's high time for my first blog entry of the new year. Well, no, of course not---I don't have a great deal new to say, but why not get it out of the way?
The holiday season is over, but there's still some good left on my itinerary. The Palm Springs International Film Festival begins in a few days and runs for just over a week. HolaGatita and I expect to see a number of movies there. I'll be sure to report my findings to you, dear reader. I'm kind of like Roger Ebert without the talent.
Apparently, perpetual nutcase Pat Robertson predicts a violent 2007 across the country. Must be the fault of all those gay couples who want to marry...
Do you have a close friend whom, in your honest moments, you think is actually kind of an a-hole? I do. Make no mistake, he has his upside, but he's also terribly difficult in many ways. In some ways, he's been grandfathered into my good graces. It's hard to fathom that I'd deal with those sort of annoyances from anyone "new."
If those who espouse this perspective are right, we're in for some MAJOR changes. If ever I have to live off the land, I'm figuring that I'm pretty much screwed.
I'm going to try this again: could you end your message with a question that the following person will answer to the best of his/her ability? I'm trying to build a community here, folks!
