During the film I saw this evening, I witnessed clips of Morton Downey's show from the late 1980s. I don't know if a TV show can better remind of those inglorious days of high school for me than that one. Of course, the only ones who will remember this are those of a certain age who lived in the greater New York City area at the time. I thought that Downey, on most political issues, was a loud-mouthed moron and I abhorred those who would echo his seemingly reactionary sentiments, but I supposed that that's the role he was playing. But, hey, this clip has anaxarete's friend Joey Ramone and Afterbirth's favourite guitarist Ace Frehley not to mention a sycophantic crowd. Enjoy!
To friends, well-wishers, and enemies alike, enjoy your Thanksgiving! HolaGatita and I are going to be catching up with CorpHo, ShellyMC, Dorwayin, and testykitty in upcoming days and I could scarcely be looking more forward to this trip...
