I do love reading the many journals in SG that are chock full of pretentious sincerity. Yes, I'm quite asinine myself, but at least I realise it. Too many people take themselves awfully seriously, but at least such self-importance allows the chance to see those "I'm trying to look sexy" faces that occur in various photo sets. I'm not naming any names, of course.

Progress on the reports due at month-end is being made. It's actually not so bad now, really. The biggest issue is the anxiety that the reports produce. Quite akin to the fear in giving oral reports back in my school days. Hmmm, I must have mentioned that one in a previous journal entry. Oh, well. Not as though anyone is going to call me on that one.

The weekend weather should apparently be cooperating for the better part of my friends' time in Seattle. Pollution seems to obscure Mt. Rainier too often, but, on those days, when the mountain is clearly visible from the city, the view is simply stunning. Knowing that the mountain will one day erupt helps me appreciate its fragile and temporary beauty. Can't say the same for my photos.
