If I didn't actually care about the fate of my employer, I wouldn't be bothered that they don't give our department the tools we need to do the best job we can. Remember, in a dark & cynical way, indifference is liberation.
I think that visiting Boston at Thanksgiving will be better than a trip to Vegas at that time would be. Not only will I get the chance to see friends and family, but the would-be appeal of going to LV at this point (i.e. the new Beatles CDS show, Avenue Q, strip clubs, and the Neon Boneyard) could be done during a non-four day weekend. Go tell HolaGatita that Vegas can wait and that Boston, with its ShellyMC, Dorwayin, and testykitty makes for a far better choice. You'll be glad you did.
Visitors will be coming to Seattle next weekend. I do hope that the sun makes more of an appearance then than it has in the last two days. They're from Arizona and, if we get mid-50 degree days, I'm afraid that I won't have enough blankets for them come night time.
I don't know how many folks from Seattle might read this journal entry, but, if you've ever been to Patty Pan Grill in Ballard, let me know how it was. I'm a few miles from the place and I still haven't been. I suck!
I will freely admit that I have great skepticism (and that's an understatement) in the prediction of an enormous tsunami to hit the Eastern Seaboard later this month, but I figured that I would include the link, anyway.
This one, too.
What's on your agenda for this week? And would you rather sleep with someone to whom you're completely unattracted or have all your friends/co-workers *think* that you did even though you hadn't?

I'm pretty handy with the rubber bands. It was a nice sunny day, wasn't it? Maybe we'll get another today.
