This early spring here in Seattle is feeling a bit too much like spring seasons I experienced back in Maine. More importantly, though, I hope that the weather in Boston will be glorious and sunny next weekend as world traveller HolaGatita and I will be going to the Hub of the Universe in order to catch up with ShellyMC and Dorwayin as well as catching a few films as part of the Independent Film Festival of Boston. Of course, my time there will be extremely limited (thanks to my impeccable logic), but that doesn't mean that I'm not looking immensely forward to socialising and eating Ethiopian food far faster than anyone ever should.
I take solace in knowing that my work's busy season has about 1 1/2 months to go and, at its nadir, it still won't match the time burden my friend Steve just endured through this tax season. He worked 250+ OT hours since the beginning of the calendar year and we estimated that this might approximate the number of overtime hours I've worked in the course of my last three jobs.
I probably should go outside and walk to Green Lake again. I know that I could use it and would appreciate it. That said, I want to get to some of my e-mail before the schedule of the work week gives me another excuse to put it off even longer.
