So, I doubt I'll have time to return the fan (as I neglected to mention it was a mail order gift and will need to be repackaged and sent back and all that stuff). I'm also attempting to pack now for my weeklong birthday sojourn up to the Great Hot North.
I'll have many activities to engage in that 730A_Trixel_Fem is planning, not the least of which is a stay in a notoriously haunted room in the Fort Garry Hotel on my birthday.
In addition, Saturday day will be spent trying to see a bunch of musicians we both like at the Winnipeg Folk Fest (whilst avoiding the dirty hippies and their crappy jam bands) and that night, putting on our finest duds and stepping out to see...WWE Smackdown. Yes, that's right, my baby wants to check out a pro wrestling show...and dammit, who am I to stop her.
It's funny, we've been reminded by others that we are a great 'adult' relationship for each other in the success and personal growth we push both of us to have. And apparently that involves being as childlike as possible. Woot.
