So, watched the Golden Globe Awards over at my friend Mike's house. He works on TV shows people have heard of, unlike my time in TV.
In one of those strange ways of the world, Mike has worked for the two Showrunners who spoke for the best TV Comedy and Drama ('Desperate Housewives' and 'Lost').
And as I relate to the story, I interviewed for a job with Tom who runs 'Housewives' for a different show a few years ago. He didn't hire me. (Though it was less to do with me and he was really nice about it.) However, last year at Mike's birthday party he wound up working the grill and he made me a burger. And I told Mister Emmy/Golden Globe award winner to make mine medium rare.
