i have a confession to make. i've been in korea for a few weeks now, and i even went to tokyo. during that time, i had lots and lots of "local" food that i'd never had before, soaked up a lot of culture, all of that good touristy stuff. but i also spent a disturbing amount of time sucking up frappucinos.
is this an addiction? should i admit that i have a problem? it's not like i'm mainlining the stuff yet, but there are several things about this that bother me. first of all, i'm not entirely happy with starbucks as a corporation. there's a diedrich's coffee close to my house (with free wifi! i'm such a whore), and i've been thinking of switching. but that's another story.
i'm mostly worried that i'm wasting my time when i'm at starbucks. i could be doing better things. like, say, SEEING MORE OF FUCKING KOREA. For example.
oh, and i was awakened by a dude playing bongos the other morning. IN KOREA. that seems wrong to me somehow.
